You have a question?
We have an answer.

Q: How much would it cost to install an acrylic bath system?

Answer: Bath 2 Day will inspect your situation in order to give you an accurate quote.

Q: Can your bathtub liner be installed by a do-it-yourselfer?

Answer: We do not sell our product direct to consumers. Installers go through an extensive training process and utilize specialized tools needed for quality installation. By using Bath 2 Day, you have the assurance of an exact fit that will last for decades.

Q: Are your liners available in colors other than white?

Answer: Yes. We offer a range of colors and Style choices to match any decor. Call us and we will provide color samples.

Q: Can water get behind the liner?

Answer: If properly installed, no. We will create a triple seal where no air or moisture can get behind the acrylic tub or wall. Without air and moisture, mold and mildew can not grow, and existing mold or mildew will die. Also, our sealant has an antimicrobial chemical called Mildewcide™ which is mildew and mold resistant.

Q: Can mold or mildew grow on my new acrylic tub system?

Answer: Acrylic is a non-porous material, which means mold and mildew cannot grow on it.. Further, the sanitary-grade silicone sealant we use has a chemical called Mildewcide™ which inhibits the growth of mold and mildew. Finally, we create a water-tight seal so no water or air can get behind the acrylic. Without water and air, mold and mildew can not grow.

Q: How do you clean an acrylic tub?

Answer: Acrylic tub liners should be cleaned with a non-abrasive, non-aerosol cleanser that does not contain ammonia. Ka-Boom, bleach diluted with water, dishwashing liquid, or vinegar and water are all good choices.

Q: Will rusty water stain acrylic?

Answer: Because acrylic is non-porous it does not stain. Even rusty water will not harm your acrylic tub.

Q: What is the difference between acrylic and fiberglass?

Answer: Fiberglass has a thin surface color and the gloss that is applied will chip or wear with normal cleaning. It also scratches easily, cracks as it ages, and because it is porous will show water spots and rust stains. Acrylic is non-porous, doesn't scratch or nick easily, and the color will not fade or wear away.
